Test mode

There is no public sandbox yet. OID4Pay is a developer preview: the service runs in test mode, no real money moves, and no merchant is live yet.

What exists today

• The authorization server at as.oid4pay.com, in test mode. There is no separate sandbox host.
• The merchant directory at discover.oid4pay.com. Anyone can read the listing at /merchants; during the developer preview OID4Pay adds the merchants itself.
• The verifier example in each SDK. It mints a sample mandate with a stand-in issuer, checks it with the real verifier, runs offline and makes no payment. The packages are not published yet; For developers shows what the example prints.
